Mike is a gifted speaker with a passion for helping others find abundant life. He connects with audiences through humor and stories as he makes a case for the truth, goodness, and beauty of Jesus Christ. Mike is known for being able to explain complex ideas in straightforward ways that are relevant and interesting to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  

Mike specializes in worldview, ethics, and apologetics. He has spoken around the world and has appeared on television and radio shows like Fox and Friends and Moody Radio. He is the author of two books: Relational Apologetics: Defending the Christian Faith with Holiness, Respect, and Truth (2015 Kregel) and Why You Matter: How Your Quest for Meaning is Meaningless Without God (2021 Baker).  

Mike has a B.A. in Religion and a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Apologetics from Luther Rice and is working on a doctorate in Ethics at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
