Dr. Tom Woodward will be speaking at Intersect 2016!
Don't miss Tampa Bay's powerful Intersect 2016 Conference, held Friday evening, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st, at the First United Methodist Church in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Over 350 have already signed up for this incredible opportunity to learn "practical apologetics" at the intersection of reason, science, and faith. Seating is limited and registration is required (though the event is free to the public) so we urge you to register now: www.intersect-apologetics.com.
Flash--just added to the Intersect 2016 conference: an open ancient Torah-display provided by Ratio Christi, the US collegiate apologetics ministry!
You will be able to inspect an ancient and historic 93 foot hand-lettered Hebrew Torah scroll. This scroll is an Ashkenazi (Eastern Europe) Torah scroll from Germany that survived Kristallnacht on Nov 9-10, 1938, where 267 Synagogues were burned and over 800 scrolls like this were destroyed. This scroll was kept safe through the duration of the war and survived the Holocaust. Ratio Christi is now entrusted as the caretakers of this historic artifact and it has already been shown on dozens of university campuses and churches across America. Come see the literal "jots and tittles" in this copy of the first five books of the Bible!
Conference featured speakers include Greg Koukl, author of the renowned book "Tactics," and also Dallas Seminary's Dr. Darrell Bock, an expert on the credibility of the New Testament. Filling out the roster is Dr. Tom Woodward, tackling the question of how to defend and share Christianity in a pluralistic, science-dominated age.
The three speakers will articulate solid evidence and key truths on several questions...
CAN WE KNOW GOD EXISTS...AND DOES SCIENCE HAVE A SAY?
WHY IS THERE EVIL AND SUFFERING IN THE WORLD?
CAN WE TRUST THE BIBLE AND ITS RECORD OF CHRIST?
Again, admission to Intersect 2016 is free, but registration is required, as seating is limited. Click on the following link for details and registration: www.intersect-apologetics.com.
